2nd-generation Mexican American Curve Model & Content Creator, Claudia Engelhardt wins the first ever World’s Miss Sweetheart Competition 

 

Claudia Engelhardt of Mexico has been named the first World’s Miss Sweetheart 2022. The first runner-up was Peru, Daphinne Campodonico. The second runner-up was Italy, Elisabeth McCallum. The third runner-up was Christa DeMaio, USA.  The special award recipients were Mexico; Miss Photogenic, Best Interview, Best Talent, Peru; Best Health & Fitness, USA; Best Spokesmodel, Italy; Best Gown and People’s Choice Award. The Beauty Empowering Change Project Winner was Italy. 

 

Claudia is a recent graduate from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communication. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Moravian University. Moravian University is a proud supporter of America’s Miss Sweetheart Organization. When not in front of the camera, you will find Claudia at an art museum, shopping, or singing. Her Beauty Empowering Change Project is entitled #ONEWOMXN, a woman empowerment photo series to highlight and encourage a healthy body & self-image, and confidence. The #ONEWOMXN campaign goal is to give confidence-boosting experiences to women who think they are not worthy. 

 

This ambitious professional curve model did not always have confidence. Claudia looks forward to sharing her journey of how she overcame criticism and discrimination turning negatives into positives through mindful living. Her favorite quote is, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” Claudia discovered her life's mission and work through her faith, family, and education. Her passion and advocacy are to promote inclusivity and body diversity in the fashion/beauty industry. 

 

Claudia has been an avid volunteer since a young age. She has worked with Miss Amazing Organization, a pageant for young women with disabilities, The Tim Tebow Foundation, food banks, and other charitable organizations. As World’s Miss Sweetheart, Claudia is awarded a cash scholarship of $2500, prizes, travel, scholarship, and media opportunities valued at $10,000. She will serve as an ambassador for Beauty Empowering Change, The Sweetheart Foundation, Sweethearts for St. Jude’s benefiting St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, Charity: Water, Angel Tree, American Heart Association, Special Olympics, Feeding America, and other charitable efforts.  Claudia will have many opportunities such as two modeling contracts, numerous professional photoshoots, magazine covers, media interviews, and New York Fashion Week. Claudia will crown her successor at the next World’s Miss Sweetheart competition in the fall.
