Jessica Indio

America's Miss Sweetheart 2020

Jessica has earned an Associates and Bachelors of Science in Fashion Business Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Currently, Jessica is pursuing her MBA with a specialization in Advanced Management from Champlain College. Her career ambition is to serve as a creative leader in the merchandising divisions within Tapestry, the fashion apparel, and accessories company that oversees Coach, Stuart Weitzman, and Kate Spade.

Not only is Jessica a highly decorated volunteer and advocate receiving the coveted Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award, Move-Look-Feel Scholarship, and the NJ Senate & General Assembly Citation of Service to just name a few.  After a family member's health scare this dynamic woman founded #LiveRight4Life a platform cultivating conversations for physical, nutritional & mental health. If she could not fail, Jessica would travel the nation as an inspirational public speaker, advocating for a healthy approach to managing anxiety while growing influential leadership skills.

Charity is the heartbeat of America's Miss Sweetheart Organization. Jessica is a national champion for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital & Sweethearts for St. Jude. Because no child or family should fight alone, America's Miss Sweetheart Organization will continue to support St. Jude in its mission to end childhood cancer. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. We won't stop until no child dies from cancer. Because of St. Jude supporters, countless children have enjoyed a lifetime of moments they might otherwise have missed. Throughout her reign, Jessica will also advocate for Salvation Army, American Heart Association, Charity: Water, Feeding America, and Angel Tree.

When Jessica is not serving others, this banana Oreo ice cream lover is dreaming of visiting every domestic and international Disney theme park location with her best friends. On her off time, America's newest Sweetheart finds time to put a smile on children's faces through the Princess Mentoring Program where Jessica appears as a Disney Princess to brighten up the day. She must have seltzer water, sneakers, and fashionable earrings. As America's Miss Sweetheart 2020, Jessica will pioneer a new legacy and has begun an American tradition where young women are encouraged to be authentically beautiful, where confidence blossoms and charity matters most.
