Happy December! It’s been just over a month since I was crowned America's Miss Sweetheart, so I thought it would be fun to recap my first month with the crown!
The First Night:
Immediately after crowning, Elisha Joy, America’s Teen Sweetheart, and I were swept back to the host hotel! There, we:
-Signed contracts
-Received sponsor gifts
-Recorded a live thank you video
-Had a photoshoot with EireAnn Photography
It was so much fun and gave us an opportunity to bond before heading home.
The First Week:
After a day of recouping and showing off my crown and sash to friends and family, I went to work that Monday planning appearances and community service opportunities.
-Tuesday: I brought my crown to the Fairview Cornhole Organization, aka some of my biggest supporters!
-Wednesday: I had a fun team zoom with Elisha Joy and our director, Sable!
-Saturday: We did our press conference live on Facebook!
This was a fun week of introducing myself and stepping into the role of America’s Miss Sweetheart.
The Rest of the Month:
After a quick trip to Baltimore, MD and one week of resting up, my appearances and volunteer work started up.
In the last week of November, I:
-Had a photoshoot with Jessielyn Palumbo Kennedy
-Was a guest at the Bethlehem, PA Christmas Tree Lighting
-Volunteered at the Hands of Hope Food Pantry
-Went Christmas Shopping for a family in need through the Fairview Cornhole Organization
-Volunteered through the Community Food Bank of New Jersey for clean up at Win Powers Food Pantry after thanksgiving
-Hung out with the Texas Sweethearts while they visited my home state of New Jersey and introduced them to disco fries and Jersey pizza
-Attended the Woodbridge, NJ Light Parade
-Volunteered at the Avenel, NJ Tree Lighting
Although it’s been a busy month, it’s been a ton of fun and has me super excited for the rest of my year as America’s Miss Sweetheart! Who knows - maybe I’ll be reunited with Elisha Joy and Sable soon…. *wink wink*
